Halloween has now become one of the UK’s most celebrated calendar occasions. As such, the market has grown massively with many retailers competing for a bite of the action – including Wilko.
Challenge
The challenge was simple: make Wilko the best destination for all things Halloween. As their brand design agency, we were tasked with spooking the competition and making the brand the go-to place for Halloween party fun.
Approach
We made a big splash into a crowded market with stand-out seasonal creative that Wilko could really call their own. Our talented illustrators created a set of bespoke Halloween characters to deliver drop-dead dynamism and theatre. And we used fun family-friendly copy on-pack and in-store to lift spirits. The whole look was then rolled out across packaging and point of sale, and even made it onto the products themselves.
